Have been to Maui twice and Kauai twice and only ever had an in-room bug once - funnily enough it was at the most expensive place of all ! Front Desk gave us a can of industrial strength spray & that was that. Suspect the room hadn't been used for a week or two.<BR>Just like the mainland, they are everywhere but you usually won't see them.
