Buffets in Vegas
 

Will be going to Vegas in Oct. This is our second trip. The first trip was very rushed and we didn't cover a lot of the city. We were really wanting to try one of the buffets that seem to be so popular but we couldn't find one. Any help would be great!

Couldn't find a buffet in Vegas? They're almost as visible/common as the slot machines. Sorry, couldn't resist. Anyway, the Mirage, Casears, etc all have nice buffets (as buffets go). FYI- Though highly touted, I thought the Rio buffet was fair at best. The experience reminded me a lot of the running of the bulls.

Bellagio has the best buffet IMO.

One of the very best I've been to is at the Rio. HUGE amount of choices. It's so good, even a lot of locals go there. Try it!!

I thought the Rio was good, far better than any buffets in Colorado and I hate most local buffets. I've been to the Aladdin twice which is pretty good, especially if you like Middle Eastern but they have American, Mexican, Chinese, Seafood and some other items and FABULOUS desserts!

Last trip we ate at the Bellagio buffet which definitly is one of the best, if not the best. Lots of choices, good dessets. Although it felt a little cramped for the Bellagio. If you don't mind paying a little more, those are worth it. Had the buffet once at the Flamingo and wasn't very impressed but it's less expensive.

check out cheapovegas.com. it'll give the lowdown on buffets. Aladdin, Bellagio and Paris (IMO - in that order) offer the best. Rio is good, but unless you're staying there or happen by, I would not recommend it. The better ones will run you about $15-30 depending on time of day.

Bellagio, and it will run you 35ish on Fri/Sat. Caesars doesn't have a buffet any more, it's now their coffee shop Cafe Lago which occascionally puts out a small buffet for breakfast/brunch.

We were just in Vegas in early Sept. and thought that the Spice market buffet at the Aladdin was fabulous. We ate breakfast there twice (no lunch was needed after that!) and one dinner. All three were very good. I heard the price was NOT cheap compared to some others but I did talk in line to some customers who felt that it was definitely worth the few extra bucks.

I have to say Bellagio as well with the Mirage a close second. If you want to try a Sunday champange brunch Bally's wins hands down! But at $55 pp it's not for everyone. Champange,lobster,caviar,crab,shrimp,ummm I could go on and on.

If a breakfast buffet is on your agenda...go to the Paris, it's fantastic. Lots of people rave about dinner there as well but I have not experienced that.

There are many huge buffets and each tries to outdo one another. Can someone please tell me if the Monte Carlo is still as great as it was a few years ago. It won some awards for best buffet and locals love it too. It is not as huge as the rest, but really seems more home style. Really good quality food- or at least it was a couple years ago. To me quality outweighed quantity.

We had buffet in Stratosphere "The Courtyard" this month. At $9-$10 per person, it was not expensive. At the same time, the food was simply awesome.

I consider the Monte Carlo buffet to be a solid place to eat if in the neighborhood. I put Harrahs and Orleans in this catagory as well.

The Monte Carlo is good but I wouldn't call it a "destination" buffet.

Bellagio by far. We went late afternoon - before 3:30 is the key - and paid $16 each. It was just amazing. EVERYTHING from the sushi, salads, beef, chicken, fish, to dessert was just wonderful.) We wish we had gone sooner, instead of our last day. You won't need dinner later!
