Buffalo, NY

i am aware that many people prefer to go there during the summer season. I was thinking of going there in either November or February. Are these 2 months not worth going because of a strong winter with a possible snow storm. I would rather go during summer but looks like i cant. Can anyone recommend good places to check out. Been to Niagara falls and Toronto so i guess that's out the pic.

What are your interests? November is a better month than February. What are you looking for regarding
"Good places to check out"?

November can be a mild weather month with little snow and temps in the 40s... February is usually the deep freeze...

The Albright Knox Art Gallery houses a world class modern art collection worthy of at least a half day... across the street is the Burchfield-Penney arts Center.

The Buffalo Historical Museum, Buffalo Science Museum, and Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural Site are also worthy of a tour.

A major attraction of Buffalo is the Architecture left from the golden years of the city's history... Frank Lloyd Wright designed and built the Darwin Martin House that is now almost fully restored and several other projects are spread around Buffalo... there are also dozens of amazing buildings designed by the best 19th and early 20th century architects

As someone who lives in Buffalo area concur with garyt22's recommendations. You have a fair chance at decent (by Buffalo standards) weather in November while February almost 100% chance of at least snow on the ground and freezing temperatures. Downtown showing some signs of life with new hotels and good restaurants/nightlife.
