Buffalo B&B's

We'll be in Buffalo later this summer and are contemplating staying at a B&B. Two that I'm aware of are the Asa Ransom house in Clarence and the Beau Fleuve house on Lynwood near Bryant in the city.
Any input on either one of these or other suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks

I have no first hand experience with either place, but have heard good things about the Asa Ransom House. They are in very different settings, do you want to be in the city or in a suburban setting? What are your interests and what do you plan to do while in Buffalo? The only other suggestion I have is a restored property in the city called The Mansion, which is quite popular.

The Asa Ransom House is very nice and although not in the city, it's in the town of Clarence which is very quaint with lots of antique shops.

I don't have first hand knowledge, but I have friends who have done a few weekend getaways at The Mansion, and they love it. It's in a restored mansion on Delaware Avenue, close to downtown. It's the place celebs stay when they're in town. Here's the website: www.mansionondelaware.com.

The Beau Fleuve house is in a cool, historical section of the city. Sounds nice from the website!

Have fun!

Thanks to those of you who responded. We booked a room at the Asa Ransom house. Buffalo is quite a small city, geographically speaking, so being in Clarence should not be a problem in getting to various city sites.
The mansion hotel looked nice, not available and pretty expensive.
