Budget Maui
My fiance and I are taking a 4 night trip to Maui at the end of the month. I'm looking for a nice, decently priced place to stay on or very close to the beach, between $75 and $95 /night.

Any suggestions?

Thanks so much!

Robyn

IN MAUI???? NOT!!! 75.00 might buy you some lunch!
|
Look into staying at a B&B. They are a great value and really charming! I am staying at Bambula inn for 4 nights at $75 a nite.

Valley Isle condos in Kahana. Look it up on the web and rent directly from a condo owner.

Thanks for your suggestions!

Robyn

We stayed at Papakea Condominiums in a very nice one bedroom unit last December for $89.00 a night. The complex is on the ocean, but the beach isn't good. NIce pool. Only about a 10 minute drive to Kaanapali.

The beach is non-existent at Papakea. There are many places just as nice and just as affordable as Papakea but WITH a nice beach.

I got the Hyatt Regency on Priceline 11/29-12/7 for $65 per night. Many people are getting it from the end of September through mid December from $65-$70 per night. They are doing construction on their pool area, whcih is why this resort is coming up.

Well .. you might try an eBay timeshare resale.
We've stayed at Noelani Condos twice & been very happy tho' they're a tad higher than your price, give them a call (AAA means a few $$ less) and see what gives.

http://www.noelani-condo-resort.com

Enjoy, you won't be sorry to visit Maui even if you have to shell out a few more $$ !
