Budget Car Rental Fastbreak & Perfect Drive Programs
 

I am renting a SUV for one week from Budget for $199 at the Las Vegas airport in two weeks (I can also apply a 20% coupon). Should I sign up for the Budget Fastbreak and Perfect Drive programs in order to speed the process of actually getting the rental once I arrive? I went to their program web site which listed the points/miles and gifts I can earn which I don't care about. I just want my SUV at an express counter. Any advantage to signing up? Thanks!

It doesn't cost anything to sign up, and it can speed things up, so you might as well. I also use Fastbreak and it does bypass the regular line. Most of the time it's worked out fine. Occasionally some airports will be disorganized or understaffed and you end up waiting anyway. I haven't rented in Las Vegas so I don't know if it falls into that category.
