Buddakan - still a hot spot in Philly?
 

Just wondering if Buddakan is still a happening restaurant in Philadelphia. The posts recommending it are kinda old. And if so, can you tell me what the "dress code" is? Also, anyplace close to it that you'd go afterwards for a drink -- not super fancy or trendy or young & crazy? Thanks for any advice.

It looked pretty hot this past spring when we were there. Dress was nice casual.
Have a good time, we loved Philadelphia and look forward to another visit this fall.

Oh yeah, it still rocks. Try the "Angry Lobster" entree -- worth every cent.

Dress is eurotrash hip funky casual poser attitude with a twist (if you know what I mean).

On the same block or so you'll find a couple of great drink spots. Enjoy!

Thanks! My husband was planning on wearing a suit -- he'll be more than relieved not to. Might mean a shopping trip for him - don't know what he has that is remotely hip!
