Buckminster Hotel.....Kenmore Sq., Boston
 

Any feedback?<BR><BR>

This hotel deosn't get talked about or mentioned too much. I live in Boston - but have also stayed there once. It's in a pretty good area -right in Kenmore Sq near Fenway. The rooms were fine nothing too luxurious but we got a great deal at the time so it worked for us. We could even walk for about 15 minutes into the Back Bay area for dinner and drinks. If you're looking for something nice in the city in a pretty good area for reasonable rates - and aren't too picky about the amenities - it would be a good spot. Cab rides from there to say the North End for dinner would be about $10. Beacon Hill would be a 30-35 min walk or a $5-6 cab ride. Not sure what you are looking to do while staying there.

Somewhere from $99-$169. I thought that was petty reasonable for being in the city.

Sorry, that should read 'Pretty reasonable' Not Petty....

For those rates, you can do much better with Priceline or Hotwire. Expedia has some pretty good rates lately, too.
