Bryce Canyon Inn
Anyone stayed here please ? Any reviews? Should we book a motel room or cabin - or any better suggestions tks
|
BCI is in Tropic, about 10 miles from the entry at Bryce Canyon. I have stayed in both rooms and cabins. The rooms are OK-just standard fairly good size motel rooms. The cabins are larger and newer. Neither are luxurious by any means but nothing in that area is any better, with the exception of the Lodge at Bryce Canyon.
They have a pizza restaurant associated with BCI. I'm told the pizza is good and I can personally testify that their baked sandwiches are excellent. |
Hoodoo Cafe in Tropic was great place for dinner (2 years ago). The entire town of Tropic is about the length of my street - so you can't miss it.

We stayed at Ruby's Inn http://www.rubysinn.com/. It's really close to Bryce and it has an indoor pool which was nice for children. The restaurant there is pretty eh... not great. The rooms are fine - nothing out of the ordinary. The gift shop is huge. Its a big complex and in warmer weather they have horse riding and stuff.
The biggest appeal is that it is very close to Bryce and not that expensive - we paid $70/night. |
We thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations right in the National Park. Get the most expensive cabin you can (if it's in your budget) and request one with a view. Several of them have excellent views and excellent privacy. obviously, they're not luxurious, but tho we love Ritz Carleton and 4 Seasons, etc, we absolutely also loved those simple cabins. Nice grounds, too. And Bryce was one of the most wonderful places we've ever been. I can't imagine staying anywhere but right there in the park-- beyond fantastic!
