Bummer about Bryce! I second the suggestion for Valley of Fire. There's a nice hike up at the far end of the drive (name isn't coming to me right now).

Sorry about the weather this weekend. It stinks!!! and its supposed to be this way for another week. Oh well, our reservoirs will be full!!

If you want an idea of some fun things to do in Vegas--
1. Titanic exhibit at the Luxor is really pretty fascinating, we liked it.
2. There is actually a really good Mob Museum in old town Vegas. Seriously. We spent like 2 hours there!
3. CSI interactive crime scene (i forget which hotel). is entertaining and interesting.

Oh well, our reservoirs will be full!!

At least those fed by the Sierra Nevada snowpack are. Those on the Colorado is still critically low. Lake Meade, although higher than it's been in years at this time of year is still 140ft below full.
