Brunch this Sunday in Las Vegas, help us decide PLEEZE!!!
We need help on deciding where to have our last meal in Vegas for this coming Sunday. While we were thinking of the Bally's Sterling Brunch, I have been reading reviews from "excellent" to "used to be good - forget it now". HELP!! The other option, is the Verandah at the Four Seasons. Please weigh in on this for us.
Thanks! |
The Four Seasons is excellent, the best in town to me as a resident that's tried all of them. Hand made donuts cooked in front of you and exotic fruit, really fresh salmon. It is also the most expensive at $45pp. Second choice would be the Wynn or the Bellagio, long lines at both. It's been a while since Bally's but it's not a trendier spot. The Mirage is also good.

Ps, I'm not entirely sure the exact price was $45pp but I remember the tab for the four of us was $200.

I've been to a few, including The Four Seasons and Bellagio. It's a matter of taste, I'm sure.
My favorite remains Caesars. |
My vote goes to The Wynn!

I had brunch at the Four Seasons about 18 months ago. At that time, it was $25.00 per person. I'm sure it's more now, but I'd be surprised if it's as much as $45.00.
When you were there travelinwifey, did you order drinks from the bar maybe? Or have they really raised the price to $45.00? I vote for the Four Seasons for two reasons: 1) They accept reservations, so you don't have to stand in a line. 2) You get a fresh cooked-to-order item from the menu, in addition to the buffet offerings. So, you'll have regular table service from the wait staff, instead of just a "serve yourself" buffet. |
The Wynn is outstanding!
For cheap and good under $5, you can't beat Binion's downtown for the huge plate size ham steak and eggs with hash browns, toast and coffee. |
Vegaslocal- Did you go on Sunday? I bet their prices are lower on the weekdays.
|
Bally's Sterling Brunch is now $65 pp. Personally I think all buffets are over rated. For less money you can eat better more healthy food.
In my opinion, Hash House a Go-Go is the best place in Vegas for Breakfast/Brunch/Lunch. Martha Stewart's show shot there so she probably agrees. http://www.hashhouseagogo.com/ |
trippinkpg - Yep, I went on a Sunday. I was not aware that they had the brunch on other days actually. I just figured it was the regular menu on other days.

Hello, I don't remember our other guest having alcohol, I do however remember thinking "ouch" at the bill:D If they did it was one drink each for 2 of 4 people. Thankfully we were able to pay under my spouse's work so the $200 price didn't sting as much. But I was a bit surprised at the price as we didn't know beforehand but I did think it would be up there.
Anyways to settle this I called the restaurant as I live locally too and the price is $35 at this time before taxes. Don't know if this price has gone up or down recently. |
Ps, I think $65 is way out of line for Bally's lunch. That is too much.
