Brunch options in Williamsburg for family with 9 and 12 yr olds

I live in Williamsburg but never go out for brunch and I have friends coming in the Halloween weekend who want to do a tasty (but not too fancy) brunch with their family.

Any ideas?

THANKS

I would post on www.chowhound.com as you'll probably get more directed responses from locals.

Hey Wees!

How about The Blue Talon?

We've taken people to the Lodge for brunch a few times but I can never keep track of what they're actually doing over there diningwise.

Maybe the Surrey House?

Hmmm. Good point, obxgirl. I was there for dinner 2 months ago and thought I saw a sign saying they were open for brunch or lunch, but now I'm wondering if I'm "misremembering."

The Lodge is advertising brunch again. It was always our favorite in the past. I don't know what it is like now and it may be too pricey. The Bray at Kingsmill always had a nice brunch but I heard they closed it for the season.

Try: Blue Talon, Second St., Victorias.

Pugsly, I go to Chowhound a lot for restaurants but there are far more Williamsburg locals here on Fodors than you would find at Chowhound.
