Brunch Near the Millineum Hilton in NYC?
 

We have a wedding to go to this weekend and wanted a nice place for a Sunday Brunch and then we wanted to take the ferry to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island - any recommendations? thanks!

and also, do you recommend making reservations? thanks again!

You might consider the Battery Gardens Restaurant (batterygardens.com). It's waterfront and near where the Ellis Island Ferry departs.

I would suggest the restaurant at the Battery Park Ritz. It is delicious food and great service.

One other idea -- you could check to see if Fraunces Tavern is open on Sundays. I think the food is mediocre, but it is an historic and interesting place and it is very near the ferry.

You aren't getting many other suggestions because there is almost NOTHING open downtown on the weekends -- even small delis and coffee shops are closed.
