Brunch in Georgetown, DC

Looking for a great restaurant for breakfast/brunch in Georgetown before going on a Potomoc River cruise. Price not a consideration. Thanks.

You can't beat Sequoia for location if it's a nice enough day to sit outside -- it is a beautiful spot on the Potomac. The food isn't great, though, so it's a trade-off. For brunch on a nice day I'd take decent food in such a lovely spot and save the great food for dinner. Cafe la Ruche is an old French bistro a few blocks from the river on 31st sreet. I also never think of it having great food, but it's a cozy place with a nice patio on a quiet side street. If your priority is really great food for brunch in Georgetown, nothing comes to mind at the moment.

The Four Seasons is supposed to have a very good brunch.

There are lots of good options. Peacock Cafe and Nathan's both have great brunches. Neither have river views though.

If your looking for a truly great brunch I would suggest either the Peacock Cafe or Cafe Milano- frankly, you can not go wrong with Cafe Milano. If you would like a very decen brunch with a taste of the DC vibe i would suggest either Clyde's or Billy Martin's Tavern (where every President in a generation has had at least one meal).

I like all the ideas supplied by previous posters - all good places in my book. And I'd add Clyde's to the list as well. . .
