Brunch in Clayton or Cent West End

Now looking for good place for an early(11:00am) brunch in either Central West End or Clayton. It's my husband's birthday and we head back to Washington DC on a 2:30 flight.

CWE:

Eau Bistro in the Chase Park Plaza, 232 North Kingshighway
314-454-9000

Clayton:

The restaurant at the Ritz-Carlton
100 Carondelet Plz.
314-863-6300

These may be the nicest brunch places, along with Balaban's, as suggested by by R5.
405 North Euclid Ave. 314-361-8085

There are plenty of more casual places, but I thought the birthday was cause for more upscale. If I'm wrong, come back for more suggestions.

Where did you decide to go for dinner?

All great suggestions! You may want to consider Duff's too. It is in the central west end.

My favorite is Balaban's. Nearby is a litttle place called Kopperman's - great deli too. More casual,... but they do have great dishes.

Keep us posted.

Balabans. Its not a all you can eat brunch but there is a nice selection of items to pick from. Make a reservation just to be safe since you will be catching a flight later on.
