Brunch in Chicago?

We are in Chicago next weekend and would appreciate suggestions for a fun/funky/interesting or traditional place for brunch. We aren't interested in fancy hotel buffets and the like. We are staying on Michigan Avenue so a walk or short cab ride away would be great. Thanks.

I'm looking into Chicago restaurants for a trip next month and I've heard that Seasons (at the 4Seasons Hotel) has a great Sunday brunch ... but haven't been there myself ... So any other recommendations?

Wishbones would be a great place for a funky brunch.

If you want a "funky" brunch it doesn't get any better than the Brunch at the House of Blues.. Sunday gospel brunch!! I challange you to find a better place!!

You could go for the Biker Brunch at the Twisted Spoke. It is a short cab ride away. Very funky.

For a little more traditional, Avenues at the Peninsula is good. It is not a buffet.
