Brunch at Isabella's, NYC

Going to NYC this weekend, and hoping to have brunch at Isabella's on the Upper West Side on Sunday. Do they take reservations? Best time to go? Any other advice welcome. Thanks!

Misha I think they take reservations. Why not just call & find out? Best time to go for what? Earlier (noon) will be less crowded I think.

Great choice! And yes, Isabella's does take reservations.

Noon is pretty early for brunch in the City. Most other places brunch is short for breakfast/lunch. But on weekends in New York, most people seem to go to brunch about 1 or 2 in the afternoon and even later. Why don't they call it lunner or dinunch? uh-oh, do I sound like Seinfeld?

Thanks ya'll -- Isabella's doesn't take reservations. So we'll arrive at 11:30 and plan to wait an hour ... can we wait outside? I wouldn't mind an hour people watching on a Sunday on the Upper West Side.

You can certainly wait outside. I believe there is a flea market in the schoolyard across the street.

I wonder if that's a brunch thing (no reservations)? I'm eaten there a dozen times, usually for business, and I'm sure I've had lunch reservations. Sorry I led you astray.

I doubt you'll wait very long for a table.
