I hope this in keeping with Fodor's rules.

The art coop to which I belong, but I will not be participating in particular evenrt, is holding its largest annual event. It is in Red Hook in a Civil War warehouse with views of the Statue of Liberty. There will be over 200 participants. It starts this coming Saturday. For directions and specifics here is the website. Upwards of 5,000 visitors have come in the past.

I wouldn't say "esteemed".

I do plan on looking around at some of Brooklyn, but haven't quite got that far in my guide books yet.
