The D, N, F Q all stop at Stillwell Avenue which is the main Coney Island subway stop.
Here is a map of some hotels in raltionship to the Park. http://www.google.com/search?source=...otels+brooklyn |
There are no hotels right near the park as that map shows but there are 2 b & b's that get decent reviews;
Bed & Breakfast on the Park and Park Slope B & B. http://www.bbnyc.com/ http://bbparkslope.com/default.htm Fyi, there aren't many hotels in Brooklyn period. The biggest/best at this point is the Brooklyn Marriott Brooklyn Bridge. Hopstop.com estimates it would take 20 mins. to get there by subway on a Sat. morning. |
Here's a subway map which should help. Subway is the way to get back to wherever you stay. http://www.mta.info/nyct/maps/submap.htm

There's the Nu Hotel on Smith st. Which is about a 20 minute train ride to Prospect Park.
There is Hotel Le Bleu near Park Slope about a mile from Prospect Park http://www.hotellebleu.com/ there's the Holiday Inn Express on Union St again near Park Slope it is about a 10-15 min subway ride to ProspectPark http://www.expressbrooklyn.com/ If you stayed at any of the above hotels, it is an easy ride back to hotel. You can take either the D,Q,N or F trains back to the area. |
