Brookline

Hi: I am looking for a nice place to stay in Brookline Boston. It has to be safe because I am going by myself.

You might try the Eliot Hotel (617) 267-1607 in Boston, which is very close to Hynes Auditorium T station which goes out to Brookline, a nice part of Boston, near restaurants and Newbury Street. The Eliot was renovated some years back and is small and upscale, good restaurant I hear (Clio's.) Or call the Holiday Inn in Brookline on Beacon Street. If it's the one I'm thinking of, it's in the middle of Coolidge Corner, so it should be fine, with lots of shops and restaurants. Good luck.

Ona, could you clarify? Do you want to stay in Brookline, or Boston, or would either be OK? Brookline is adjacent to Boston and doesn't have many hotels.

Hi: The reason I think of Brookline is that the interview is very early in the morning in Brookline.

As a point of information, Brookline is a separate town adjacent to the city of Boston.
The Holiday Inn is safe. It's right on Beacon Street, a convenient location.

Take a look at the website for the Bertram Inn which is one block off Beacon St. and just up the street (i.e. the one block) from the Holiday Inn. It looks charming, and if I was traveling alone, it's the sort of place I'd like to stay. Brookline is very close to Boston and very safe.

http://www.bertraminn.com/
