Looking for a inexpensive motel for one night in Brookings. 3 couples - 3 rooms. Does anyone have a suggestion? For one night 7/31/04. Appreciate any help

I'm assuming you're asking about Brookings, Oregon(?) The several places I've stayed there weren't memorable enough to recall the names. I suggest you google for Brookings Oregon motels, and just about anything that shows up will work for you.

The coastline is pretty rugged around Brookings, so it might be nice to have an ocean view.

Also, maybe repost with Oregon in the title, and you'll get more responses.

All of the lodging in Brookings is inexpensive. It's a gorgeous part of the coast. Will you be traveling to other areas of the coast?

We really enjoyed Bandon and there is an oceanfront BW that is reasonable. Had some great fish & chowder at a cool little fish shack there a few years ago. Enjoy the coast! ***kim***

Could be Brookings, South Dakota...

We like the Best Western Beachfront Inn. All rooms have great ocean views and there is a good, reasonably priced restaurant nearby.

The cheapest motel listed by AAA is the Westward: $55-$79.
