Brochures?

I am planning a trip to New York for my mom for Christmas and would like to wrap several brochures about different NY attractions(as a present), but I can't find them. Everything seems to be online. Do they still make "old fashioned" brochures? How can I get them?

Check out the website www.nycvisit.com. They give you a few numbers to call to order brochures and a visitor kit.

Try AAA or a travel agency. Both should have brochures.

Write to the Chamber of Commerce.

Sounds like a wonderful present for your Mom.

You can get PLENTY of brochures. Usually if you go to the web site, there is a place to order a brochure. Or, if there isn't there is usually a place to e-mail site owners. Just e-mail and ask for a brochure. They will almost always send one.

The other suggestion of writing to the Chamber of Commerce is a good one--also the Department of Tourism (http://www.iloveny.state.ny.us/)is a great source. You may be able to find that on line also. Or go to the Visitors and Convention Bureau at http://www.nycvisit.com/. Their home page has a place to order publications.
