Broadway ticket information
 

I am planning a trip to NYC in early October. Given the great reviews of "Exit the King", I thought I would try to get tickets sooner rather than later. The Barrymore ticket site only goes until Mid-June. Anyone have ideas as to the earliest I can purchase tickets?

We are also thinking we would to to see "God of Carnage". The same question applies.

Exit the King is a limited run with a scheduled closing in mid-June.

The contracts for the current cast of God of Carnage only run though August 2, and the producers/cast haven't made a decision to extend the run of the current cast or find replacements. I imagine that they will extend the run given it's popularity and its likelihood of winning best new play at the Tonys. I would just keep checking every week or so to see if it is extended (and, if it matters to you, with which cast.)

Pam - not sure on the exact shows you have listed but I have had success with American Express with presale for certain shows. Hope that helps, if you have an Amex card. :)

In similar situations I keep going to broadwaybox.com until they post discount tickets for the time period I want.

I have yet to be disappointed (except when a show closed before I got to NYC).

Thank you everyone. Since the Tonys, the run of "God..." h as been extended. We now have tickers. I will have to wait to see if anything gets extended on "Exit..." or what new opens up between now and October when we go.
