broadway shows

Since we will save so much money on food after the ideas from my last post, we are looking at what broadway plays we can see. I checked out someone else's post about checking various websites. Theatermania.com worked well, but hitshowclub.com and broadwayoffer.com did not work. But my question is, we've never seen any of these shows and which one would you recommend for 2 adult parents (my husband and I), a 22 year old girl, 17 and 15 year old boy and possibly a 24 year old nun if the play if suitable and approved by her superiors.
thanks for your suggestions.

Mamma Mia! Or The Producers would be the choices least likely to offend and most likely to entertain everyone.

Try www.playbill.com for great deals. My favorite is Cabaret, but not really suitable for a nun. I hear Oklahoma is good. Have fun!

The Producers is very raunchy and rated R. There is a lot of sexual innuendo including gay sex. Millie, Lion King, Beauty and the Beast are all good bets.

If you're looking for the least expensive, then wait until you get her and go to TKTS in Duffy Square. You'll have no probably getting tickets there for Les Miserables and Oklahoma, both of which should be fine for your group. Other possibilities are Thoroughly Modern Millie, Phantom of the Opera and 42nd Street, which might be available at half price at TKTS.
That's your least expensive option.
Other options that'll be discounts but cost more than TKTS (but still at a discount) include the Playbill website (www.playbill.com) and discount coupons that you can pick when you get to the city.
