Broadway Show-"Chicago"

Does "Chicago", now playing at the Ambassador theater in NY, still have the alure and excitement that it elicited when it first opened so long ago. Does it currently have a first run cast?

I don't think that nay show retans ALL of it's allure and excitement through any run. Have not seen the current cast so can't comment.

Howver, the show is a classic and I would definitely se it if you're intrested in dance. If not - there are a lot of others to consder.

What do you mean by "first run cast"? There have been about a zillion replacements since this production first opened, if that's what you mean.

No. Tom Wopat is playing the male lead and is probably the only recognizable name. http://www.playbill.com/events/cast_list/623.html

Maybe jaydh42 meant first rate cast.

We saw Tom Wopat in Annie Get Your Gun and he was very good.

I saw the show and it was great music but not what I'd call "first rate". The woman playing Roxy was a fantastic singer.
