As I know,I can get cheap broadway ticket in <BR>TKTS,Time Square Visitor Center,but my friend tell me,I can get the coupon in a bookstore near Time Square,who can tell me the details?

The 'coupons', also known as twofers can frequently be found in many smallish stores all over manhattan, but they usually only have for a handful of shows. You can also get the same coupons discounts, for any shows that may have them, at www.hitshowclub.com (this is the organization that puts out the coupons). You can register for free on the websire and print out any coupon you want. Also check discounts at playbill.com and theatermania.com.

They are available at the Information Desk across the street from the TKTS booth. You pay a liittle more than half price. The advantages of the coupon - tickets are purchased at the theater boxoffice so there is no line. Tickets can be purchased for any perfoprmance up to the expiration date on the coupon.

The discount tickets are available in many midtown sites. In addition to those cited above, there are little stands in the Grand Central area, as well as a NYC tourist office on the west side of Seventh Avenue, between 52nd &amp; 53rd Street.<BR>S is quite correct that the discount is usually less than 50%. Though it may cost a few dollars more than TKTS, you have the advantage of taking the coupons directly to the theater box office and not waiting in line. You have a similar advantage with offers on the Playbill website.

Not sure what play you want to see but there have recently been tickets on ebay for much less than face value. (last minute type tickets normally good for performances within the next 2 weeks) I doubt if this would be the case for a big sell out but it might work for you. check it out.

I, personally, would never pay more than face value for show tickets on E-Bay. Why line the pockets of the speculators, especially when it is illegal in most states to sell tickets for more than 110% of the face value? <BR><BR>It's different, perhaps, if folks have tickets they can't use and offer them to others in an effort to recoup their &quot;investment&quot;. But, on E-Bay, you can't really know.<BR><BR>Interesting that the OP uses the name &quot;broker&quot;. For what it's worth, we too bought tickets on ebay for the Christmas Spectacular (Rockettes) during the first week in Dec. at $10 less than individual face value. We enjoyed the show and our stay in NYC very much!
