Trying to find Lion King Tix three weeks away for 7/7. I realize that they sell out months in advance via ticketmaster. Can someone tell me of any other ways to get tix close to face value besides paying an arm and leg through brokers? Thanks

Check the EBay web site. They have tickets to various shows and you can bid on them. YOu might be lucky enough to find Lion King tickets for the time period that you are in New York. I have never use EBay, but have heard others speak of finding good deals on site.

Well, there's a last-minute thing we have here called TKTS. It's a booth in Times Square where they sell same-day tickets to various shows around town. The downside is that there is no guarantee that you'll get the show you want or the seats you want; upside is that you can get a discount on the tickets. Some of the better hotels can get you tickets at the last minute, and good seats too, but you'll usually pay a premium for them. Have you tried getting them online at Telecharge.com? I've used that site many times and it's very reliable. Good luck and have fun.

Lion King is not available from the TKTS booth at this time (and probably won't be for years to come!).

Jay,

I have just recently purchased tickets to see Lion King via ticket-master online. I paid $50 dollars each for the balcony area. I think is a good deal. Do you expect to pay less???
