Broadmoor Hotel, Colorado Springs
Anyone stayed at the Broadmoor?
|
Long time ago but thoroughly enjoyed our stay. However, I believe it is still considered a "Deluxe" hotel.

I actually stayed there two years ago. The resort is huge. Almost like a little town. The views are breath taking. It is a 5 Star hotel although I thought it was more on the line of a 4 Star. I was dissappointed with the food. It was good but not great. I went horseback riding through the mountains which was unforgettable.

We stayed there last fall and loved it--we had a room with a balcony that overlooked the lake--we slept at night with the doors open, it was wonderful sleeping in that cushy, cozy bed! Beautiful hotel, grounds...and you can walk to Seven Falls from the hotel. Enjoy! :-)

The Broadmoor Hot has always been my "concept" of camping in the mountains.
Fresh raspberries for breakfast is a nice touch. Enjoy! M |
Broadmoor is a classicly beautiful old resort that has been well maintained over the years. I spent several summer vacations there years ago and haven't been for some time. The location is magical. Do they still have the train? LMF

I stayed there in Oct 4 yrs ago for a convention. Since we were 4 students/room, I couldn't really enjoy the room itself, but the grounds are breathtaking, the spa - amazing, truly one of the best hotels I've stayed in. I am planning to go there again, now with my husband, to enjoy the hotel grounds and the surrounding area more fully. I would definitely recommend splurging for such a place.
