Beaver Run Resort

We like The Village, just down the hill from Beaver Run. Condos, pool, good access to restaurants.

When you say "coming over" are you from the UK? We've met many a skier from the UK on the lift chairs at Breck!

We prefer Beaver Run--it's at the top of a hill, away from the fray, yet you can still walk into town if you like or take the free shuttle the resort offers.

Building 4 has rooms slope-side and lockers in the basement with a door leading directly outside--we love the convenience of it.

Also, there is an in-door heated pool as well as outdoor jacquzis.

If your budget allows it, you might prefer an actual house as opposed to a condo complex, which is what Beaver Run and The Village are. www.vrbo.com has several listings for ski-in/ski-out homes.

Read carefully. There are many more ski in than ski out. The ski in/out are relatively few. Anything on 4 o[clock run is ski in. Areas around Snowflake lift can be both.

We once stayed in a condo in Breck that claimed to be ski-in. Technically, that might have been true--provided you managed to ski across the grounds and parking lot of the complex further up the hill!
