Breckenridge Snowshoeing ideas ?
 

Hi:

We’ve snowshoed at both the Breck Nordic Center (love that center in general) and Gold Run (ended up going up into the forest for a gorgeous hike) last year. Enjoyed them both but wondering if there are other areas to snowshoe (we have three days) that are well marked and offer nice hikes? We are in our 50’s and in good shape (not marathon runners but solidly in shape).

Where are you coming from? Do you have your heart set on Colorado? By the end of next week we will have enough snow in the Cascades of Oregon to snowshoe. There should be great snowshoeing south of Glenwood Springs near Aspen. There is a good bus service between Glenwood Springs and Aspen.

There are various trails around Breckenridge. LIke French Gulch but that is moderate difficulty.

Take a look at Boreas Pass trail. I haven't done it, I only go there to ski, but it's supposed to be well groomed and with good views.
