breakfast in vegas
We recently found a great place for breakfast in Las Vegas. It's Coco's--between NYNY and Monte Carlo. It's a small place with a power breakfast for $4.99. The food is good and a bargain and, to make it even better, we had a great server. His name is John and he has a great memory for orders. It was amazing. He even remembered our order from one day to another. Even remembered more than one table at a time. It was fun just watching him. By the time we left him a good tip and added coffee to the meal, it cost us almost as much as a breakfast buffet but we're not big on them. We recommend Coco's and John.

And why not? I'm always willing to pay more for a meal prepared for me than eating off a steam table of food that's been sitting there for a while. I'm into quality and freshness, not quantity. If I don't get enough to eat from a regular meal, then there's something wrong with me. |
Just because it's a buffet doesn't mean that you have to overeat.
And just because it's NOT a buffet doesn't mean that the bacon, sausage, omelets and pancakes haven't been sitting back on a steam table for awhile. |
Thanks Judy,
We were looking for a nice breakfast place! Gee, I'll bet that John is a pretty good card counter too!! I'll ask him! pete |
Coco's is a chain....I think it's just on the west coast. They do much better with breakfast than they do with lunch or dinner.

Thanks for the tip, Judy. We love "The Egg & I" but that's about 15 min away by car.
We'll try Coco's in July. |
