Breakfast in Santa Fe

Where are the best places to have breakfast in Santa Fe.

What type of breakfast are you looking for?

Here's a few I'm familar with that we like:
Authentic: Tia Sophia's, Guadalupe Cafe, Tesuque Mkt, Cafe San Estephen's- (Sunday only)
Touristy: Pasqual's (very large servings and long wait sometimes)
Fancy: Eldorado (Sunday brunch only I believe), Inn at Loretto on the patio

I'm sure there are others and hopefully someone else will chime in with their info.

BeachGirl has good suggestions...I'd second Tesque Market...it is 5 miles north of town where Rt 22 and Bishops Lodge Road intersect. While there, if the Sedoni Foundry is open, do stop there. It specials in lost wax casting and you can go thru it and see them actually working and see many lovely pieces.

Hope this helps!

Thanks.

I just saw Pasqual's menu. Its prices seem high compared to other Santa Fe breakmast places whose menus I could find. Is it really worth the high prices and the long lines?

Yes, it's worth it. What's another few bucks?? Enjoy annieladd

I definately think you should try it at least once. The portions are HUGE -- especially the breakfast burrito. We love the huevos motulenos! Its a very quaint, fun little place. And they have a community table which you can be seated a little sooner most of the time.

When is your trip? Hope you have a great visit.

We go in mid-September, and I'm amazed at all of the great-sounding places for breakfast in Santa Fe in addition to Pasqual's: The Pantry, Tia Sophia, Chocolate Maven, Cloud Cliff Bakery, Telecote Cafe, etc.
I need to cut a few off my list, because I have only four mornings.

mscarls,
What a dilemma you have! We have that same problem when we visit. We have our favorites and a short amount of time so its hard to fit in new places, too.
I, too, will be there mid-Sept and its a wonderful time of year.
