Breakfast in Monterey

I'll be in Monterey next week for the Moto GP race. Any suggestions on where to eat breakfast? Somewhere we can grab a bite quickly (bagel shop, bakery, etc.) would be preferable.

Thanks.

There are many "quick" spots... of course there are the several branches of the Bagel Bakery, or the Parisan Bakery next to Morgan's Coffee Bar in downtown Monterey.

For a better breakfast, try Old Monterey Cafe on Alvarado, or First Awakenings at near Cannery Row. Have a great time in Monterey!

FIRST AWAKENINGS is in the outlet mall near the aquarium and is great for breakfast.

Also, try SNORKELS at the Monterey Plaza Hotel. Great outside dining overlooking the Monterey Bay. Best view in the area!

Bob, do you mean Schooner's at the Plaza or did they change the name? Anyway, I love the place for lunch. We had an excellent breakfast at the Duck Club when we stayed at the Plaza, beautiful views from their dining room, also and very pampering service. ***kim***

I would go to Pacific Grove (just a few blocks away) and eat at the Little Red House on Lighthouse Ave. Wonderful!
