Breakfast in Middlebury, VT

HELLO!
I am looking for a place to meet my mom for breakfast in the Middlebury area. Any suggestions?

TIA!
Cindy

There are a couple that I've been to:

Steve's Park Diner - right in the middle of town and on the "square". It's not very big but the food wa quite good, as I can recollect.

Rosie's Restaurant - out on Route 7. Can't remember much of the food at this restaurant.

There's also a new restaurant that I want to try next time in Middlebury:

Farmers Diner

There are a couple of other restaurants I like in Middlebury - Tully & marie's and Mr Up's, but I don't believe they are open for breakfast.

Steve's, Rosie's and the Farmers Diner (not really a diner) are all good. Two others are Middlebury Bagle on Washington St. in Middlebury and, if you are looking for something more elegant, the Waybury Inn in East Middlebury.

If a Sunday, heading south from Middlebury, drive a short distance to The Waybury Inn on route 125, off rt. 7. They have an excellent Sunday Brunch, and attractive gardens and public rooms. It's the location where the Bob Newhart show was filmed.

The Waybury Inn (www.wayburyinn.com) Sunday Brunch is very good. They also serve breakfast from 7:30-9:30 other days of the week. Sorry I mispelled "bagel" in my previous post! Let me know if you need additional comments or directions for any of the above mentioned restaurants.
