Brea - Embassy Suites
 

3 of us are going to the Disneyland area in June. Has anyone ever stayed at this Embassy Suites??? What is Brea like?? Is the drive going to be that difficult to commute to the Anaheim area for a week. Will be seeing the sites plus a few days at the convention center??<BR>Would appreciate any assistance.

Hello Elaine,<BR>That particular Embassy Suites is located next to major shopping mall, and Old town Brea which was recently rennovated--lots of restaurants, shopping and movie theatres. All in walking distance. Very nice area. I've never stayed at that ES, I live in the area, but have stayed at many others--have never been disappointed with accommodations. It is freeway close to Disneyland/Anaheim area approximately 20 min--as long as not traveling during commuting hours.<BR>Hope this helps.<BR><BR>

Nice area. Not right next door to Disneyland, but a much nicer area of Orange County. There are some movie theaters in the area, a regional mall and plenty of restaurants. There's also a 24 Hour Fitness right there.<BR><BR>Crocodile Cafe is a fun, casual restaurant.

Hi, Embassy Suites is pretty nice place to go. We used to hold meetings there, and the staff was pretty friendly. It's more of a business hotel, though. There are lots of things to do in the Brea, and it's close enough to Disneyland. <BR><BR>The Civic Center is close by, movies theaters about a mile or two down from the Embassy Suites. Tap Brewery is a good restaurant to go to...it's on Brea Blvd. and Imperial Highway. Daphne's Greek Cafe is pretty good place as well--it's smaller restaurant, more of a fast-food greek cafe, but still good.<BR><BR>There are some good places to shop. They have the Ann Taylor Loft and Old Navy down the street within the Brea Downtown district.<BR><BR>The Block at Orange is also a fun place. The Market Broiler restaurant is very good there. Just make sure that you go during the day. Sometimes it gets out of control with kids at night, cruising and such. I usually go during the day, and it's great. They also have a number of shops, and restaurants at The Block, too.<BR><BR>Downtown Orange is fun. Great little antique shops, and good restaurants. My favorite is Felix's. It's a Cuban restaurant; it has good food that's reasonable in price. That's in the Orange Circle, in Downtown Orange.<BR><BR>Well, hope that helps! :)<BR><BR>Hope that helps...
