Boston with a 20 yr old grandson

My husband & I will be spending 4 days in Boston June 4-8 with our 20 yr. old grandson. We're going to Concord/Lexington, Isabel Gardnert Museum, & the Freedom Trail. Any more suggestions?

What does he like to see/do? Has he expressed a particular interest? Or are the things you listed above his contribution already?

Boston and surrounding areas are extensively covered on this forum. A board search is highly recommended.

Cranachin's suggestion to mention the kinds of things you like to do will help as well.

From what you briefly mentioned you plan to do, unless your 20 yr.old grandson particularly likes history, I think you will need to add things that will be exciting for a 20 yr. old. Once you write a little about his interests and what is fun to him, then we can assist. Concord/Lexington and the museum are not things we would have thought to do with our kids and we are from Boston.

FWIW, we went to Concord/Lexington for the first time last summer with our 22-year old DD and we all really enjoyed it. It's a beautiful area, and obviously so full of history (in addition to the Revolutionary War, Concord was home to many famous authors -- Walden Pond is in Concord), and the towns themselves are really nice. We only spent a morning, but could have stayed longer.

My daughters love the science museum. They are 22 and 25. Your GS might enjoy walking around Harvard too.
