Boston: Who has been to the Blue Man Group at Charles Playhouse

I sent in my request/check for tickets for (1st choice) May 28 in January. Last month I was getting worried that I haven't heard from them and was told tickets weren't even on sale for May yet and they were just holding my check.

Today I got my ticket and was disappointed to see I am in SEC D ... I thought that since I sent I had requested a ticket months ago, I would be closer to the stage.

My question is this; Is it true the theatre is very small? If that is the case, then it really wouldn't matter where I was.

For $56, I just don't want to miss out.

We saw the Blue Man Group at Charles Playhouse a few years ago and yes, the theatre is small, but it makes it very intimate. Trust me, you do NOT want to be close to the stage for this show (you'll understand after you see it). We booked very last minute and our seats were way at the back, but we still had an amazing time, could see and hear everything perfectly. ENJOY!

That's all I needed to know :)

Theatre is small - even in back, balcony or on sides are great seats. Only seats I would not want would be in front rows - you will understand after you see it.

It'll be fine. Small, great venue. You're seats will be better than you think!

I was on a side balcony, close to the stage, everything was in front of me.

If you don't see from the back rows you can look at the large screen above the stage, so don't worry.

We were seated in the "L" section (balcony) and we saw everything just fine :D Have a great time!

I saw the show a couple of years ago and sat in the back row. They may have changed the show ... but the actors went into the audience and one came up to me ... even in the back row.
