Boston Tea Party Site
 

Would anyone be aware of the actual site of the Boston Tea Party? My understanding is there is some marker on the exact spot.

I have never heard of any such marker - there is/was a Boston Tea Party Museum and reproduction of one of the 3 ships - on Congress Street in Boston. These are undergoing renovations and are not open again until at least 2011.

Much of Boston is reclaimed or refilled land and the shape of the Harbor and waterfront has changed greatly since that time - the "Back Bay", for example, really was a bay. So such a marker might not be on what is harbor or waterfront today - although, as I mentioned, never heard of a marker at actual location.

Not sure what else is around there but some digging found a marker.
