Boston 'T' stops, etc, near Marathon finish line

Thanks to all who responded to my other post about the Boston Marathon. Next question:
What public transportation stops are near the finish line?

My understanding is that the Copley station will be closed the day of the Marathon. So, for instance, would it be reasonable to walk from the Back Bay rail station to the finish line? Other possibilities?

It is a very short walk from Back Bay station to the finish.

The orange line stops at the Back Bay.

It is also a 4 block walk from the green line stop Arlington and 5 blocks from conventon center/Auditorium stop.

It's a three block walk from Arlington. Due to construction the Arlington exit/entrance is closed so you get on/off at Berkely St.

It's only a few blocks from the Hynes/ICA stop on the green line as well.
