Boston Seaport Breakfast Options
Our daughter is getting married at the Seaport Hotel in Boston in the vicinity of
Boston's World Trade Center. We are looking for a reasonably priced place, preferably within walking distance of the hotel, to offer our out of town guests a breakfast option. The breakfast at the hotel is very expensive and we are looking for a less pricier option. Any ideas?? Thanks, dk |
Is everyone staying at the hotel? If you have a large party at the hotel, have you tried getting a group discount? The worst that will happen is that they will decline. Speak directly with someone of authority.

The trouble with this area is that it currently is not near anything. Lots of hopes about developing the area, but not much at this time. Beautiful hotel, nice views.

Flour Bakery is kind of near there on Farnsworth St. Not a sit down restaurant though, but a cafe with seating. Good baked goods available though and they are open on weekends at 8 or 9am. Not sure how early a breakfast they need to eat, but it is an option.

There's a Renaissance hotel and a Westin within walking distance of the Seaport hotel. You can see if their breakfast options are cheaper.

Good ideas above, but I still think that if you are having a wedding there and family members are hotel guests, that you have brought them enough business to merit a "consideration" for your group's breakfast! Do you have some sort of hotel-employed wedding co-ordinator who is helping you? Don't hesitate to ask.

I'll bet for a reasonable cost you can have a buffet put together in a room or if you have a suite, offer your guests muffins, coffee, donuts and juice and then they can wander toward downtown to see some sites. I make sure you have maps to hand out to everyone, so they can find their way back.
