Boston pumpkin picking

Hi there,

What are some good farms around Boston to go pumpkin and apple picking?
Specific names will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Marino Lookout Farm in Natick.

North, south or west? Smolak Farms in North Andover usually has fun fall activities along with those you mentioned. They have great cider donuts.

It is getting a little late for apple picking. Also, be aware that at many places that call it pumpkin picking it is not actually "picking". You walk around a pumpkin field and select a pumpkin, that often is not in the spot where it was grown and usually not attached to vine.

Ingaldsby Farm in Boxford is also very good. Not too far from Smolak if you wanted to hit both. Ingaldsby takes you own a hay ride out to the pumpkin patch if I remember correctly. Plus there was a small petting zoo too.

Both these things happen in the fall in New England.

They sure do, suze -- that's why all the posts before yours were from last September.
