Boston - Parking at the Sheraton

Will be there Columbus Day weekend. The hotel is charging $33 a day for parking. Do any of you local Bostonians have any suggestions on alternate places to park nearby? We will be taking the car in and out occasionally.

Or will it be most convenient to fork over the hundred bucks additional and park at the hotel?

There are a few Fitz-Inn parking lots in the areas, one specifically near the Christian Science Church, which charges approximately $7 per day to residents on the weekends. It's not just for residents, but mostly residents and church members take advantage of those lots.

Thanks Leslie. Do you happen to know if they have 24 hour access?

The Fitz-Inn parking lots do have attendants and the lots are well maintained. I can't say for sure whether the outdoor lots are manned 24 hours per day or not.
