The Millenium Bostonian Hotel is a 2-minute walk from the North End, and the Marriott Long Wharf is just a bit further away. (I don't know of any hotel physically in the North End, and I'm unfamiliar with LaCapella Suites.)

If you are going to stay in Boston, let me suggest getting a place in Beacon Hill. Charles Street Inn is a fabulous hotel. I set my mother up there when she came to see me in town and she adored it. The rooms are theamed, huge bath, fireplace. Lovely. And it's not too far from the North End. It's in the thick of the hisotica part of Boston. Or The Boston Harbor Hotel which is a waterfront hotel, and completely gorgeous. www.bhh.com
Also, there is the Omni Parker house where bill clinten, john f kennedy and charles dickens has once stayed. www.omniparkerhouse.com
Good luck!

I was intrigues by your asking about LaCapella suites since I did not know of any B&B in North End. I have no personal knowledge of this place, but they have a website (lacapellasuites.com) which has a link to recent Boston Globe review.
