Boston: Nine-Zero Hotel. Any First-Hand Comments?

I've read the TA reviews which seem pretty good. I'm thinking of staying sometime next month and wondered if anyone has any recent first-hand knowledge they could relate.

I like downtown hotels convenient to public transport. Ritz Carlton would be a possibility but this place looks like it might be more fun.

Thanks!

I don't have first hand info, but just FYI, Travelzoo has a special for Nine Zero for next month; $189/night Thurs-Sun stays. Really good deal IMO.

I've stayed at the Nine-Zero and it's a GREAT hotel. I certainly won't tell you that the Ritz is bad (I've stayed there as well), but if you're looking for some place trendy and fun, the Nine-Zero is it. I can also highly recommend 15 Beacon as well... The Nine-Zero and 15 Beacon are both in the same area, pretty much right in the middle of everything. 15 Beacon also has an amazing restaurant, called "The Federalist" which I would highly recommend for dinner or a drink. If it's your thing, they also do an awesome tasting menu...

Thanks very much YK and Bluewater_1993 for those helpful comments; they are much appreciated.

Actually, the Federalist is no more. It's now a steakhouse call Mooo.

You'll love the Nine Zero, great hotel and great location.
