Boston lodging report
I stayed at the Samuel Sewall Inn in Brookline this week and I highly recommend it. It's a very nice B&B in the best of all possible neighborhoods. You can park your car and forget it - the T stop at Coolidge Corner is a short walk away, as is a great movie theater that shows independent & foreign films, lots of good eats, cheap and otherwise, groceries and drug stores for the things you forgot, etc. I paid a lot less for this than I would have at a cookie-cutter chain much farther out of town. Oh, and they bake their own goodies for breakfast & snacks.
