Boston - Kid friendly restaurant

Does anyone have a recommendation for a fun, kid friendly restaurant in Boston? Thanks!

I know it's a chain, but my 12-year-old really enjoyed the Hard Rock Cafe. Also the Cheers restaurant in Faneuil Hall, mostly because of the people-watching (we sat outside).

Make sure you take your kids on the Duck Tour--it was the favorite part of my son's trip.

A great place to take kids is in the Prudential Center. The resturuant is called Movenpick. It is an international theme so you can get whatever you want. When you are seated you are given a passport and then you walk around to the different countries and pick up your food. My two girls love it.

Fanuel Hall is also a fun place to eat, though the food is only ok.
Hope that helps

For seafood you might try the Barking Crab - its a very casual place. My kids like Pizzeria Regina in the North End. Quincy Market/Fanieul Hall has lots of different vendors so the quality will vary. Fire and Ice may be fun depending on your kids ages - its good for kids 10 and over in my opinion. I say this because you pick out your food from different stations and then bring it to a central grill area for it to be cooked. It takes a bit of negotiation and might be too much trouble for younger kids. Older kids get a kick out of it. Maggianno's Little Italy serves family style meals - its a chain restaurant but pretty good.
