Any big concerts July 3 or 4?? Any big nameS??

There's a possibilty that Aerosmith maybe performing with the Boston Pops on the Esplande.

I'm pretty sure the Aerosmith thing fell through, didn't it cigalechanta? I thoughtI read that in the paper a few days ago. In any case, the big 4th of July Pops concert on the Esplanade is the place to be.

But if you're looking for something else in the area, Eric Clapton at the Tweeter Center, perhaps?

Whether any "Big names" will be there or not - be advised that people get to Esplanade at 6 AM (or whenever they open area). If you are not there shortly after opening you will be unlikely to see or hear anything unless you are near a big speaker further out, on a boat, or get really lucky and snag a spot on an overpass closer to time of concert.

So there are no big names concerts except for madonna and clapton in the area??

you know, I live here, and I had no idea where the Verizon Wireless Arena was. I sure hate souless, corporate names, don't you? It's in Manchester NH...sure wish they could just call it the Manchester Arena.

I'm just waiting for them to re-name Tanglewood the "This Space for Rent Amphitheater"
