Boston Hotels
I have reservations at both the Radisson and Westin Copley Place. Which is the better hotel?
|
Neither hotel is an historcal or architectural gem, but I would recommend the Westin Copley over the Radisson. The Westin overlooks Copley Square and Trinity Church and is only 2 blocks from Newbury Street (shopping and restaurants). The Copley/Back Bay area is one of the nicest/upscale places in the city and is a "24 hour" neighborhood (something going on at all hours). The Radisson is in the theatre district, which is lively at night, but doesn't have much charm during the day.

Yes, stay at the Westin Copley Place. It is nicer and has a better location.

How does the Westin Copley Place compare with the Wyndham Tremont for quality? How far are they from each other?
|
They Wyndham Tremont is across the street from the Wang Center and in the heart of the theatre district. The hotel used to be called the Bradford Hotel many years ago, and was well known for where the hookers escorted their Johns. However, the area has been cleaned up, and the hotel has been beautified, but the Westin Copley Place is in a much better area, and is a much nicer hotel.

Thanks Leslie. How far is the Westin Copley Place from the Wyndham Tremont?
|
What area is the Wyndham Tremont in? Can anyone tell me the names of other similar or better quality hotels that are in the same area? Looking at June 22 to June 27.<BR>Thanks

The distance between the Wyndham Tremont and the Westin at Copley Place is about a 20 minute walk. The Wyndham Tremont is in the Theatre District, which according to Priceline is "Downtown", whereas the Westin is in "Copley Square". The Wyndham Tremont borders Chinatown, and is closeby to the New England Medical Center and New England School of Law. The hotel is a two block walk to the Boston Common.
