boston hotel--Jurys Boston or Boston Park Plaza
I'll be spending a few days in Boston at the end of May, and am trying to find a hotel that is comfortable, convenient to the Gardner Museum, the Museum of Science, Museum of Fine Arts, and within walking distance of the "T," that won't break the bank. The ones listed above appears to be okay--would anyone have any comments on them? are there others I should consider? Thanks.

All 3 museums are on the subway system's Green Line, and the MFA and Gardner are just a block apart from each other. The Park Plaza is a bit more convenient to the closest Green Line station.

Downtown Boston is very compact, smaller than most people think. Almost any hotel downtown is going to be convenient to the T. As far as prices go, if you are going to be by yourself, you should look at priceline.com, otherwise expect to pay a lot in May.

Book yesterday - all of May is filled with college commencements and hotels are always expensive and sometimes inavailable.

Either one is fine. The Jurys is fairly new so it may be a little more updated. It also has a really great bar called Cuffs. The Park Plaza has some excellent dining choices and is a little closer to the T stop. But, really, you can't go wrong with either one.

I stayed at Jury's in July and really enjoyed it. The train is a block away and I think it's a better location than the Plaza. Great bar at Jury's. Park Plaza is a bit dated.

Have just arrived at Jurys and think it is a lovely hotel. Really very nice. My experience at the BPP several years ago was horrible, which is why I am here! Would recommend Jurys without hesitation.

Love Jurys Hotel!

The original poster's trip was three years ago. I'm just saying.
