So I am back. I rented a bike and biked to Race Point Beach. And I also went to the Museum, which was free Friday night and they served finger foods. I was at the Gardner, but it was quite dark to see the art, but it was very lively with a lot of people. I was distracted as well because I had just discovered I lost my cell phone.

I think the 7:30 pm return turned out to be fine, as my other option would have been 3 pm. There was enough to keep me busy.

The one thing to note is that the ferry ride wasn't 90 minutes, but more like an hour and 45 minutes. So I was glad I booked myself the 10 pm Boltbus rather than the 9:25 pm train. The train would have been more comfortable, but it was also a regional train, but I'd have missed the train for sure as I didn't get back to Boston until 9:15.

Glad you had a good time. Both Provincetown and Boston are fun to visit.

Depending on one's interest, one can easily fill a whole day in P-town. There are scads of shops and restaurants along Commercial Street. Several beaches are nearby. There are also several attractions of varying kinds, including the Pilgrim Monument and Provincetown Museum, Provincetown Art Association and Museum, Province Lands Visitor Center for the Cape Cod National Seashore, Expedition Whydah Center, and Old Harbor Life Saving Museum.
